1983 944na/ 2000/ $2000 blew engine and not worth fixing
1988 944na/2010 / $1400 needed alot of work. Still working on it but love her.
I too am currently afflicted with "while I am at it" so my 88 is sitting waiting for the
water pump, tensioners belts to be installed. water pump leaking too much to keep
driving. She has just been shoved to priority tho!

Put 15,000 on the clock in three years and $3,000+ into it. After this past repair and other than the interior leaks, I think I've got her back in good condition.

84 944 - 63K (actual) . super clean, snapped t-belt - $700 including delievery. sold it for 2500 to the first person that looked at it! 2005-2008
87 951 - 92K, blown engine. $1,575 from E-bay - 11/06- current
My mom bought her 944 in 92/93ish for a real good price IRRC, I'll ask her next time I talk to her

1987 951 with 123,456 miles (yes, the seller parked it at that exact mileage until he could sell it) and I got it for 6,250 car came with a bunch of mods already done and had the awesome manners to wrestle a new clutch out of me after just 6 months of ownership. OUCH! Purchased in May, 2009
