I did 85mph on the way home from work today in a 1991 Caddy Eldorado with 219,000 miles on it.

138mph, calculated.....speedo said 140...pretty accurate for that high of a speed......not bad for an '83 with stock internals

I think 155 is now within my grasps (new revlimiter of 7050)


BTW.. This was done on an airport runway and speed was clocked by radar.

Yeah that's right tough guys. I dropped out the floor from my 86 Yugo and I was peddling faster then a crack addict searching for some rock. I got up to 1000hp and was going about 250mph just with my feets! Yo yo rice on that for awhile!

On to busines I am looking for the top speed thread we had here awhile back. People were posting all kinds of time running from 60-120 or so. Rage posted up some good times. The reason I wish to find this thread is I am going to do some boost logging tomorrow figure out exactly how my turbo spools as well as holds boost and how long it take me to reach certain speeds. I figure if I can post all this info with video some of you guy's might be able to give me a ballpark on my hp. Seeing how I wont be going to the dyno any time soon.

If one of you guy's could find that damn thread and bring it back I would really appreciate it. Thanks alot.

If you want cheap speed in a Porsche...get a 928. If you REALLY want speed and performance in a Porsche...install forced induction on a 928...it's uncanny what these cars can do....and you'll pass many of the new $100K+ cars. Dunno what the turbo 968 will do but I'm thinking it would be awesome.
