Rear seat bottoms replaced... I just could not pay for factory looking replacements... it was over 800.00 just for those... I know this will bug me for the rest of my life... but when I die, the next owner can do a factory restoration
And the floor welds I need to finish... will cut to butt-weld with floor.
Received the chrome trim from Germany. Radio is done!
A couple of photos taking it apart to check the light bulb...I order to spares only to find out that the one in there was working... it was just green.
Also one photo with the metal plate to correct the hole made by the previous owner when he installed a larger radio.
i have been scouring eBay for ver 5 years in hopes of finding an original radio for mine, where in Germany did you find?
this was my cousins car, I am happy to see progress still being made! He sold the car to the right person. I cant wait to see the finished car.
Wow!! I hope he is doing well. I still have not finished the car... life gets in the way... So no updates anytime soon. Woking on finishing a small workshop we had built in the back of the house (we moved from Orlando to Ocala) before I can continue working on it again...
Heck no! Looking for a little bit more land to be able to build a small workshop in the back. Kids are gone. Just the two of us. We wanted a smaller house and a bigger lot to plant stuff... and build my workshop... Made a mistake and bought 1/2 acre instead of 1-2 acres, so the workshop could not be built as big as I wanted, but I am not moving again!!
As soon as I finish organizing all my carp, installing the ceiling, etc. then I can continue working on the cars...
