I have not tested it, but I have been aware of the development.

Right now it looks very promising.

Just received it. I will be installing it over the weekend. Does anyone have any base line settings I should try for a car with k27 7200, headers, 8:1 compression and garretson cooler?

I was on the list for one last year for a while, i had many e-mails and phone conversations with Frank Ableson regarding this unit, I was promised it last year but the development obviously took a lot longer than he first envisaged, I had no need for it in the end. The initial software had some glitches which meant that some of the adjustments didn't save, make sure you check your saved program to see that it is as you want it., I'm sure they have ironed this out though.
If the unit works as it's intended then it will be fantastic, I'm really looking forward to seeing some results, I know it's not EFI but for CIS turbos it's the next best thing, keep us informed

One thing that Frank mentioned is that you can tune it remotely using a dongle and your laptop, sounds bloody good to me!

I just did the basic install. It is nothing other than to replace a stock WUR. You just have to remove IC and air cleaner first. One of the problems with the unit is that there is a small ECU that you must mount under the hood as the wires are not long enough to try and place it inside the cabin. The best spot I found is on the right side wheel well near the rear shock. I do wonder if the unit will survive the heat under the hood. I'm not finished yet as I'm taking my time, but I will post pictures later.

could it be fitted under the sound deadening material on the bulkhead, or does it need clear airflow? Alternatively do you think the wiring could be lengthened without any negative impact allowing mounting in the cabin area?

I thought the idea was that it fitted under the fuse panel in the left hand side of the engine bay? That was what i was led to believe, is it not long enough? Ed, check your e-mail

Depends.....if the leads are carrying TTL voltages for the sensor(s) that would mean it's plus&minus 5 volts which in this type of environment, 10 feet (and that's pushing it) is the max. My guess would be not to out guess who ever designed this thing.

I know from printers that there is a limit to the length of cords that carry voltage sensitive info. Most complex printers don't recommend cords, (USB) of over six feet.
