Looks like American junk....When it breaks down, I am sure your brother can get some Escort parts at the junk yard to fix it....LOL
j\k had to give that friendly jab after all your "rice" comments at me.
Great car, pretty much a premium piece and a sure future collector.

The typical american cars are junk. I 100% agree with you. Not many out there I turly appreciate. Now this car is totally different. Only 3000 being made over two years. Then a front engine all aluminum bodied car will be introduced.

The whole induction system is pretty wild. The air intake is positioned at the rear of the car. Counter intuitive to normal thinking, but when the air flows over the car, air is focused on the intake area, and is actually pressurized by fresh air. Pretty amazing engineering. Some things they actually didnt hack up to build this car by just throwing this item here or there. Most of the items are functional for 200+ driving. Even the undercarriage has channeled spoilers for high speed driving.

BTW does anyone know what GT40 meant on the original car? The car height. IT was 40 inches high. This model is 42" high, so the 40 designation is not in the car branding / name. The name is just GT. Something you maybe did not know.

Sofast here in Michigan no waiting for GT40 and yes the designation was for the height of the car, the speed channel has been running the documentary on the heritage of this car for some time now. Hard to imagine but this car evolved of one of the biggest rivalries between to men Enzo and the Deuce, because Enzo being the facist he was would not sell his company to just any crass American. Anybody interested in a Chrysler SRT8 6.1 liter hemi, 425 hp.

Well, all I can tell you is what my brother has told me. I have not seen the car in person, but it sounds really awesome. They tried to make the car as close to the heritage of the GT40 as possible. Plus, my borther said the car is amazingly fast and 70 mph seems like you are standing still sitting so close to the ground.
