Well this week I have spent a lot of time and it doesn't really feel like I have done very much, but I now have headlights, indicators and horn grills fitted to the car. It is actually starting to look like a car again

Cool! Will need to search this out on youtube...

I often search for custom Porsche 911 videos, never saw yours pop up. You may want to adjust the keywords you use so that your videos flag and show up easier...

I do try to make it easy to find. Out of interest what would you type into the search bar? eg."Custom Porsche 911".

I can modify the tags to make it easier to find

This week I got stuck into tidying up lots of little things and starting some of the reassembly.

I spent this week tidying up more of the wiring and connecting up the heater fan. It doesn't feel like I got a lot done, but just getting all of the dash wiring sorted is a big step.

^^^^ Yep. I've got the bottle said to be used on turbo slantnose cars rather than the massive under-fender mess.

Mine is installed just like this one:

I have had a couple of suggestions to heat up and deform the plastic of the original one, so I think I might give that a try first. But I assume I will probably end up breaking it so, something like you guys suggested will be the next option.

Jeff.

Dude, look at your life from our point of view. You have mad skills, an awesome car, a great shop, an infectious smile and personality, and a smokin' hot wife who looks, awkwardly, right at home in your shop .....and a smokin' hot wife. Otherwise rational men would kill to have your life.
