Default Home Built Hot Rod (With full build videos)

Hey guys,

Just stumbled onto this forum. I have been going through this build on another forum, but I thought some of you might like to have a look.

This is my first time building an old 911 and the first time I have stripped a car right back to the bones. So I thought I would film it for posterity.

Here is the first video.

Hope you guys enjoy it.

Part 3 I start getting rid of the layers of bog (bondo for those in the US) and getting it back to bare metal. This was hours of a disgusting mess, covering my nice garage in dust.

This week I strip out the wiring, and remove the fuel tank with a very messy result. Not the smartest move I have made.

My next job is to remove the engine, so while I am waiting on a lift table I have ordered to do the job, I thought I would decorate my garage with a bit of Porsche inspired artwork.

That brings me up to date. I hope to be removing the engine over the next week, so we will see how that goes.

Jeff.

Ok, after waiting for the lift table and having issues downloading from the Gopro, I finally have the engine out.

Haha. Thanks mate. If I can't laugh at my own stupidity, it's not worth doing these things in the first place

Ok, it has been a few weeks since my last video update, but now that the Christmas and New Years craziness is out of the way it is full steam ahead.

I have had a few days up my sleeve this week with all the rain that we have had, so I spent it productively
