Do you know if the seat mounts you bought for the Sparco Evo is a part you can purchase online? Can't tell if the last owner fabed up something himself. I have a Sparco Rev that I am trying to mount and planned on making my own bracket. But if I can find a pre made solution perhaps that's an easier way to go.

Sparco is down in Orange County. Got to sit in all the seats.

I purchased Sparco Evo III's and cut down the shoulders to fit into the car better and had leather covers made but used a stock Sparco seat bottom pad, steel side rails, sliders, and got new plastic harness inserts for the back and sides.

This week I have been busy making my own carpet kit for the car. I had a go at making the removable sound deadening/carpet pieces but, well here is the vid that will show you how it all went.

After a bit of time away from the 911, this week I got stuck back in and made some door trims. You can now see my colour selection for the interior.

This week I continued trimming the rear panels in the car. I needed to make a recesses in the side panels to clear the roll cage. This trimming is very time consuming but I am really enjoying it.

Loving this build thread! Yeah, the interior colors are a clash to my eye.....if the tan were changed to a dark gray or black, that would help tie the plaid to the gray carpet. Anyway, keep up the great work and videos!

Thanks mate. I think once the entire interior is in I will come together, but if I change anything it will be the carpet. I find black 911 interiors nice, but boring. Believe it or not the carpet is a sand/brown colour, just against the other strong colours it just looks grey.

Jeff...coming along great! Don't mind all the interior critics, you'll never please 100% of the peanut gallery!? It's your car so keep going with what YOU want! Can't wait to hear the first turn of the key when it's done.

Sorry for the late video. Everything worked against me this week, and I got a lot less done than I hoped. I at least got a start on trimming the seats, so hopefully next week I will be able to finish it off.

Jeff, now I just think you are crazy. I cut 1-1/2" off each shoulder bolster on a set of Evo III's and then had a local upholstery shop make heavy full grain leather covers for them without giving them much of a pattern to go by. Once you pull the wire tight they really come together. That, and a lot of rubbing and hand sculpting to push the leather out how you want it. Mine got new thicker foam as well. One trick to getting the leather to stretch is to cover the foam with a heavy plastic trash bag to provide some slip under the leather that can them be removed once you get the shape you want.....but I don't think you need advice.

Good to see that your seats looked just as filthy underneath as mine
Your covers look good though, I like the garbage bag tip. I am far from an expert, so I am always looking for ways to make things easier. Thanks mate.

This week I have been tweaking and refining the leather to fit the seat properly and I have finally gotten the outcome I was after.
