PPI in Princeton NJ
Any suggestions for a place to get a PPI done in Princeton NJ? I know some places these days are staying away from doing PPI's for various reasons.

Too much effort and cost. Doing PPI at Princeton Porsche where the car lives. Seller feels good and that will help transaction. I live an CT and know exactly where I would take the car for PPI in CT.

Do not take your car to Princeton Porsche for any thing but newer 911s. They have no clue regarding air cooled 911s. Just awful!!! Totally misdiagnosed my oil leak and tried to overcharge me by $6k. Take your car to Dan Jacobs in Ct or if you have to stay in the Princeton Area then go to Provost motor sports @ 6092083555. Do not go to Princeton Porsche.

Ouch. That is scary. That was one of my concerns that they probably don't see many cars that are Air Cooled. They probably mainly work with 996, 997's. I hear you.

Update on PPI in Princeton, NJ
Short story is seller backed out of the PPI. There are few interesting points.
1) Seller did not feel comfortable going with me to my bank and accepting a certified Bank check, and giving me the car. The idea was the PPI was going to be "clean" and I would accept the car that day. PPI was Friday and transaction was on scheduled for Saturday.
2) Seller did not feel comfortable going to my bank and receiving cash. I wanted to give seller another option.
3) Seller would accept a bank if I waited two days or so. This was not acceptable for me. Seller would receive a bank check from bank. Take check and deposit funds in his bank.
4) Seller did bring in the car for PPI and Princeton Porsche. However, seller stopped the process.
So, I can only speculate the reasons of why seller did not feel comfortable with bank check and the PPI. My gut tells me something was wrong with the car that was going to be uncovered with PPI. I will not speculate on receiving a bank check and wanting me to wait a few days before I would get the car.
I would proceed with Caution with this car: WP0AB0914HS122046
I have done more research on 86-88 911 Coupes and the prices can be in the low 20's to over 70K. So, a 30K car could easily need $15K-$20K in engine work.
So, I will continue looking.
