Done.

My only issue at this point is that the the 28mm Tbars turned out to be for a 915 tranny car.

...that, and I ended up with 2 extra bolts and missing 2 washers when I swapped out all the bits at the shop.

thinking out loud can get you killed but, it would be zany to screw it royal and change to Ed's fenders.

Allen, you need help. the thought is to make Ruby into a long hood, not Roxanne. My car would remain as is and Ed's would go into storage for a bit. Upon her return Ruby would become an R inspired longhood. ....just don't tell Ed yet.

I don't think I ever walked you guys through how I came to have R tail lights. (Actually got some crap from one of the guys in OT so I figured I'd show them off just to poke back a bit. )

The fiberglass backers came from Dave at TRE and the lights came from rallylights.com. The electronics for the running/stop lights came from Pep Boys or O'reiley's, I forget.

The turn/reverse lights were a simple drill out and bolt up with no crazy work involved really. You can see what I did.

The running/stop's were a different story. I could not find a solution other than fabricating something....you can imagine that getting my eyeballs on a factory original wasn't going to happen. Anyway, I made some spacers out of spruce plywood to fit the modern two filament bulbs inside the lenses. Once happy with the placement I glassed them into place. They had a nice polyfoam seal built in so I think they will be rather water tight on the back side.

The lenses are held into place with small screws. The backers are held into longer screws that are held into place with sheet metal clips. The inbound side of the backer does come with an extra spacer that holds them into place at the correct depth.

Anyway.

inside and out.....HEY, I missed the clip.

I used RTV around the back of the turn/reverse light and used a half roll of tape on either side to seal up the spade connectors.

No, not attatched to the fiberglass. Just the seal that runs across between the bumper and stock lights.
