Gave her a bath after dark tonight by the light of the full moon. Wasn't long before I was driving around the block wondering if I torqued the lug nuts.

The sticky tires pick up every single little spec of sand on the road.

Talented.....jumped out and took a pic while moving!
How long did the paint cure before waxing? I just painted my duck and am giving it about 2 months before I seal it.

I waited six weeks. It ain't perfect, but there isn't a panel on my car that doesn't shown it's age. The metal flake is slightly different in the light, but it look like it was done 20 years ago.....exactly as planned.

Dang it. You have motivated me to go put another layer of fiberglass on my splitter.

I was going to start a "WTF is Doug doing to my future ride" thread but have reviewed all posts and deem the project worthwhile...............a bit.

From my cold dead hands, boys and girls.

Drove her today up the canyon with my 11 year old son screaming all the while.

First time out that low and with the new rubber and strut brace. Felt very connected. Basically went with only 1* of negative rear camber. Tires are so sticky she is definitely dialed in.

Gonna shave and take my wife unit out next. Will include dinner and some .

.....and splitters have gotten one final coat of resin, sanding, and the black paint is going on.

Thanks Ed. Elayne loved it. Zero to 90 on the on ramp never felt so good.

She's all tucked away under her blankets without a care in the world.

I have a clubsport valance (fog light delete) in the works. They are going to be a splitter of sorts. They will stick out about 3 inches and go from either side of the front plate around to the wheel arch.

I know William will have a coronary, but it's my car and he can suck it.

......and ya, keeping the rockers off. In person, the car is just sick raw.

I really like irony, usually.

The only time I don't is after making handmade splitters and then going too low on my raised spindles......

Don't you have some new tools to play with?

Then there's the irony of spending all of the time working on the aesthetics, when a much more beautiful car could simply show up.
