Who still has original paint?
Mine is original and from my sig pic, looks dam good. Yes, I have multiple small chips on the nose and a couple on the rear deck, but overall she is holding her own. It's a Colorado based car in the desert region and most definitely garaged for the whole time. I keep her garaged as well. I was thinking about a repaint, but originality is favored as well.

Trunk, jambs and door posts are all original, and pretty darned nice. Bumpers were done long ago. Fenders, doors and quarter panels done about ten years ago. Whale tail done about four/five years ago.

Most people clean out their records of questionable items (accidents, etc.) so I am not surprised you don't have evidence of a repair. CarFax is a joke, IMO, for knowing all about a car's history.
