But, the good news is, the motor gained about 25 HP when I did the project.

some bigs lists !!!
I have decided to leave well enough alone on my fronts and replace them later... I am doing everything else and its actuall pretty easy to pop those off if I sort thru the details and come up with a plan..for now i am moving on.
Yes Ed the rears are a PITA and IMO I will be re-doing those before long just based on what I now know...again, this time it will be cake since my bushings are not glued on and actually are only light press fit to the body and endcap, slip fit on the spring arm

My seats are okay but could use some freshening. There's also a square of carpeting that I had to cut away from the pedal area and I want to re-attach.
This car is no concours winner, but it looks just good enough to inspire me to drop too much coin on cosmetics. It's in that wallet-draining grey zone.

OK - I caved.... new front poly graphite bushings in one side, new struts and torsion bars...tore the other side apart just now, will repeat the install asap... the bushings were not that hard to do...glad I did...and FWIW the stock ones are a PITA to remove!
I have a small list of "pick-ups" that will have to be done - the tie rod boot is torn on one side, might as well replace both, I need a new pinch bolt (read they should be replaced...easy job, no need to re-align) i want to put 10mm spacers under the front control arm mounts (supposed to help with brake dive) - other than that, some new rubber and an alignment she's pretty close now (the 16th is a track day so I gotta keep rollin')

when I found the front torsion bars the guy I got them from gave me the front bushings... that is why I went with polyG for the rear (to match) then they were such a PITA I almost didnt do the fronts... now one side done I feel pretty good about it.
cost was a big driver as was the fact that I didnt want rubber, and I couldnt figure out if the Neatrix were rubber or what....too hard to tell from an internet picture........
