Yes it is. Complete with a chocolate brown interior.

When the search began I wanted red, white or metallic blue and I also did not want an SC. But the car I now have I am real happy with and really like the color - sometimes its better when you don't get what you want.

after a trip in another car I had to make some quick changes...they didnt hit the list long but here is what I did:

1. Adjust passenger door...(it was a little tough to close... not anymore)
2. Adjust brake pedal height (mine was WAY high.... not anymore)
3. Install Momo Shift **** (I picked it up cheap and for kicks thought I would put it on...i hate the look, love the feel... think I will keep it for a while)
4. Bought new steering wheel - should be here in about a week...I will pop it on and see what that is like. its not a 930 (I dont have THAT kind of money) here's a pic...

My SC is doing very well, thank you. My '06 F 150 has a dash squeak that's really annoying, could be the airbag compartment door. My 914 doesn't have a short list; yet.

crap, tossed a brake pad light today.. figured I still had a little pad left.....replaced fronts a few months ago...bought the rears so had them "in stock" in the garage

1. replace rear pads
2. install new steering wheel
3. find nail in new tire while changing rear pads
4. take car to get nail hole repaired tomorrow
5. get new warning sensors - since i toasted mine

short list? how about "neverending list"

How did your brakes feel before the pad sensor light went off, Ed?

As for me: find new mystery squeak in cabin...this time it's not the ashtray...

I beat those poor brakes to death on Wednnesday... 170 miles ON TRACK with an epic 45 minute session to end the day....I didnt notice any real difference but was watching them for the last few months (which is why I had the replacements in the garage)

I actuall thought I had a little more left but once the center slot is gone its about game over... I will take a pic of the spent pads and post it for you this weekend
I must have "just" tripped the light as it was off after the pad change... still figure I will replace the sensors.

I am going to check some oil lines because I learned some stuff from parts coming off Amar's car that's a little scary. I will let him tell you what they found, but I am going to be checking my hoses pretty carefully - old cars and rubber!!

I always replace pads before 50% mark. You dont want to run out at track, and thin pads will allow heat to get from rotors to the fluid faster.

one thing on my list of little things to do is install the stomski shift coupler now that I have my car back.
I tried to find the instructions on the stomski site, but I am having no luck.
I have most of the steps found through searches here and on pelican parts, but I don't remember the first steps of removing the old coupler and fitting the stomski unit.
should the car be in gear? or in nuetral?
just for clarification, I have a 1975 911 with a 915 and a 3.2l

the proceedure for setting it is pretty well described in there... take your time, and do it right it should take no more than 5-6 tries to get right

revive -

done list and to do list...larger than usual to do, wont post those right now but today I did the longest oil change in history..maybe took me 2+ hours... love a car that you can enjoy working on

during the draining I pulled the passenger seat out and re-positioned it a little higher and a little closer to the front to allow easier access to the rear and more viability for short riders...so who cares an oil change takes all night....

this last month was a new blinker/headlight switch and a rebuilt alternator along with some tweaking of the front bearings and break checks, fuses pulled and cleaned..found one that broke immediately when touched...WOW! replaced poking around with the idea of installing another chip and a MAF with new air filter set up... I am real close to just doing it...think I will pull the DME to check version and if it's simple with no jumper wires (per instructions) I will just do it.

these cars love new oil, its amazing to me everytime how much better it sounds with new oil and how much smoother it runs/drives

Great post Ivangene. Makes me even hungrier to get my car back. My list of 'little things' grew excessivly long and not so little.

Once I get the car back, I look forward to doing my own level of piddling yet thoroughly rewarding items.
