I love the look of your car - the only thing that I would change is the 7's to the front and pick up a pair of 8's or 9's.
But if you have the itch - and I have been there - I like the Fiske's

I'd also look at Kodiak wheels - Jeff Alton on Pelican carries them

Add one more to the "no on changing the Fuchs" tally. There is no better looking wheel for the pre-1990 911s. If you want to make a change, however, you can consider going 7 & 8s, as others have suggested here and color match the centers to your car. Lowered, w/ a polished lip, I don't think there is a better look.

And, if you're just itching to spend money on the car (and I can appreciate that if you are), you could consider having the car lowered slightly and putting a clearbra on the front, to replace the vinyl bra. Your car is beautiful, by the way.

There is no substitiute for Fuchs. There are so many different ways you could change the look of your Fuchs...if you wanted, but I think they are perfect just the way they are. pollished petals would look nice on your car though.
I agree on the lowering the car as well...and ditch the bra.![Cool](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/cool.gif)
Beautiful car you have there.
If I could afford a set of 8's for the rear i would do it as well. I cant.

For the umpteenth time keep the Fuchs, but go with 8s on the rear, lower, and do not paint the centers all black (it just hides the beautiful design of wheel), color coding works on light colored cars. Now for my idea, I would think the natural bead blasted look, with the black shading would have that RSR effect..

if you want to make a change and keep the Fuch look, get mine 16x9 and 16x7 Fuchs.

Well heck im just going to have to go against the grain a little bit. I wanted to change my look a little. Yes I love the look of my Fuchs but I just wanted a change. BTW - I kept my Fuchs. The are 17" cup replicas (7 1/2" & 9") with correct 911 offsets. They were rough when I got them but looked pretty decent after a blast and powder coating. At the end of the day, do what makes you happy.

Super Dave-
These are the only other wheels I like on the 89/earlier cars
Where did you find those with 23/15 offsets in 17" cups?
I agree the Fuchs are classic, but I'd like to also go with some black alternate wheels on my white cab.
Let me know,
Jeff

I found them used on Pelican - got them for $400 and another $175 for the powdercoating. Not too bad for $575. They are Italian made, I dont knwo the maker.
This will give you an idea what they used to look like.
