That one is much more like the valance from the Turbo LE, where the bumper is a separate component. I'd buy one of those, but the valance for the Turbo LE, is geared up for the wider wheelarch flares of the turbo body.

As I say I'd love to buy something like that valance off the shelf, but I don't knwo what to call that specific shape, and you don't see it very often. If you can offer any guidance, I'd appreciate it very much.
Andy: What year is your car? I think Performance products sells them. Not sure if Pelican stocks them.

Is this what you are looking for?

You, sir, are a gem.
I've looked and looked for that, but without a hard and fast name I've been in limbo. I was long resigned to getting it from the States, but the problem was where.

Probably a bit impractical for me to get a pint of IPA to Oregon, so here's a virtual one....

Andy:

You're welcome. I'm a Brit myself- been in the US 15 years now.

Cheers,

Paul.

Fuchs are the only wheels for a 3.2. If you have a hard-on for a change, then the BBS.

Papdukes, I love those Kenesis K28's. Can you tell me the sizes and back spaces you are using?

Thanks,
David

As with the general consensus here, I would keep fuchs. I always likesd the bare alluminum look on early cars, and adds a no-nonsence race look to later cars-without centercaps. I put a set of fuch centered HRE 3 piece wheels on a red factory 930S and it looked great, but that is a garish car to begin with. It worked in that case, but I like the Ruf wheels as heavy as they are-good high speed stability.

+100 on keeping the Fuchs. My personal choice is satin black centers with satin lip ...i.e. "stock" look. But another great option IMHO is the BBS 3-piece (that came on some of the Carreras, IIRC). Mine are 7s and 9s:

Complete with Pit Crew (from years back )

Gratuitous action shot
