I really love my Targa

Burning Brakes
I can relate to the Targa family perspective. My first Porsche was purchased because vettes don't have back seats and can't get anywhere in the snow. My kids may complain about the small back seat, but they love the attention we get when I pick them up from school in my Targa.

You should have pulled the trigger before I came to my senses or at least before my wife found out. I can just see it now, "honey look at our new Speedster". "So where do the kids sit?" "Oops!" "Kids?" "Yikes, I forgot". Oh well some other day when she's not looking.

Isn't funny how they act...like when you buy it, it was too much, when you improve it "why did you do that", but when you sell it, "why would you do that"?
I guess the answer is...oh heck there never is a "correct" answer.
Buy the Speedster, then let me know when you want to get rid of the Targa.

I really love the bottom of my Targa too!
Resurrecting this post after my lift was installed. 88 Carrera with 13K miles.
Can't wait to start my overdue caliper rebuild to fix a sticky piston. Plan on cleaning off the cosmoline that hasn't already burnt and broken off. Understand steam works well...but haven't searched the board for other tips.
