Brian,
What size tires are you running? That is a beautiful car.
Thanks,

I was driving mine in the snow, because we normally get an inch or so and then it melts the next day. But a few 100 mile trips to Denver International Airport without a windshield washer motor, non-melting snow, and a few more rust spots that I don't need. To top it all off any collision place will not take it because I "need to take it to a restorations place." Left me a little sad, but I washed it off and placed it in the garage, and I start it up and drove it yesterday because it was 60 degrees out. Today it is supposed to snow so I can't take it out for an evening spin when I get home. Blah. I might tho on Wed and Thurs.

Speaking of which, anyone know a good restoration place for P-cars?

The Targa was the only model I wanted. I like having a choice of driving a coupe or a convert depending on the weather.

I will second that RC. I was happy to actually have somewhat decent weather here today in Seattle. So... the top came off.

Early 6 Tacoma Targa: Nice ride. I am in Seattle and have an 88 Targa, Nougat paint, and am ready to release it from the garage now, at last.

Yeah, took the top off both yesterday and today...as I was driving into work today I just could not believe how nice it was. Clear skies, incredible view of Mt. Rainier, sun beading down, cool air flowing into the cab, it was amazing. I cannot wait to leave the office and get back on the road (in about half an hour!). I am very, very, very happy to be a Targa owner.

Thanks jwt996. Maybe we can meet up somewhere when the weather turns. A Mt. Rainier or St. Helens drive???

Yes the targa can be enjoyable, and yes everything will fly out the window when you get her unwound!
