Hopefully the new foundry gets it right and he delivers cases to those who ordered them. I give him credit for taking on such a monumental task with such limited background in the field. Most people think you just make a mold and pour metal into it. It is that simple if you are making simple junk parts without concern for quality. The difference between casting a simple casting and one that can meet the highest QC/QA and Mil spec criteria for aerospace use while keeping scrap rates down is monumental and not something I find many foundries are capable of.

I have been watching over this thread for several years. It's so nice to see that your initial $200,000 plus investment has come around! It's also good to learn that you have teamed up with Haas up the road in Oxnard which makes great machines! Ultimately, a big thank you for making these puppies in the good old USA!
Will you ever be able to go backwards, as well? Ever consider tackling the older cars like the 356? The world is drying up for those cases, was well.
Keep up the great work! I hope to see that mule out doing further test world on a long haul road trip up the coast to SB.

I spoke to Adam a few weeks ago. He seemed excited about switch foundries. I'm slot # 5 or 7, cant recall but I decided to go a different direction, so my slot is available and fully paid for. 5,500

No excuse for going silent. You always return calls even if you don't have anything of consequence to relay to the other party.
Not returning a phone call or in this case an e-mail goes against all that is SOP in business.
