How to fix the 718 RS wheels bouncing?

Before spending in expensive wheels think (if you ever played volley or soccer) that a lighter ball bounce more...and OEM wheels are not heavy
actually 21" GT3 rear wheels are heavier,
i guess its all about hi/lo speed rebound settings
Question for experts is how a strut can be stressed (if any stress) by a 3/4 ways suspension , before cracking alà 991 RS....
maybe in this light a mag wheel real benefit is to let us play more with a strut suspension settings?

Besides this issue you’ve described, please tell us about your Spyder RS.
We would all love to read an overall review of your time so far with your SRS!

Aren't OEM forged? That seems to be very little weight difference between OEM and OZ forged

The idea that a car like this, with this suspension technology and at this price point, would “need” or would be “improved” by an expenditure of some $20k on either factory magnesium wheels or some large amount for aftermarket magnesium wheels is preposterous. If the car doesn’t grip the road around turns on “uneven” pavement the way a Boxster GTS or even a BMW 330i does, then it’s a flawed setup from the factory; and I say that as someone who has one on order. The suspension on RS is fully adjustable, so maybe the answer lies therein.

Honestly, you guys are making a big deal out of something that's not really a problem, as proven by the multiple comparisons of on track times vs GT3s and GT3rs of multiple eras, along with other make/model comparisons. Like all cars, there's always room for improvement and or simple modifications, especially for improved tire life (increased camber). But the idea you need to rip out the suspension and replace everything, is ridiculous.

Well you don't have to look too far above my post to see people referencing needing dramatic changes to make it a car to live with which I think is overblown and a ridiculous take. For the OP I believe he has a Spyder which AP has acknowledged as a softer spring setup than the GT4 RS. I don't have experience with the spider RS. I think it's silly for people to come in and give advice and recommendations when they've never experienced the car. That being said if you're buying an RS based Porsche there are expectations that it won't be as daily driver livable as the base models. I do think temperature is a big player in suspension and tire complacency. When there are cooler temperatures your tires are going to behave much differently. I wouldn't have the same set of expectations at 40° versus 80° whether on track or on the road.

I will make a video of the car loosing grip for 1second after a large bump that i take much faster with the GT3 touring without any issue , in the meantime haven't read if this car let you play with hi/lo speed rebound settings or not, don't take it too seriously, I would rebuy the SRS again and again, 4RS for track is crazy at it's price point/old tech after 992 GT3 came out but this is another story, not for this thread. nor my problem

I've seen several similar discussions regarding the dynamics and limitations of the strut suspension on the 981/718 cars, and I think there seems to be some confusion between the capabilities of the car and just issues with driver confidence.
You can't argue the platform is certainly capable of very fast lap times, especially in the hands of a professional driver. Seems that on smooth roads and courses, where the suspension is mostly just dealing with weight transfer duties, it's pretty much a non issue, save for some tail wag on hard braking. But for many people (myself included) any uneven pavement mid-corner makes the car feel unsettled and you really second guess the capabilities of the car.
My first track day ever was with my stock GT4, on a bumpy track, and I was pretty terrified hitting those bumps at speed. Meanwhile other 981/718 drivers seemed to be unphased! I did the normal toe link/alignment/tire mods and while the instability is reduced, it's certainly still present.
I just kept at it, and now even when I feel the rear end bounce around, I'm able to continually get faster as I gain more trust the car.

Look at the fawning adulations towards and insane prices paid for pre-multilink (993?) air-cooled 911s. If their wheels bounce, that would be deemed "analog character". I have other cars with wishbones and multi-links. They scary me way more than the 4RS in mid-corner bumps.
