Yes, I guess I should say "North American" tail lights. Just curious why @Ferrarisimo decided on the Euro version vs. NA.

It’s something I’ve done on most of my cars.

I wanted the indicators to blink amber, as god intended. Not sure why Porsche insists on changing them to red for the US market, especially when there are plenty of US manufacturers who make cars with amber blinkers domestically.

the regular base and S 718 taillights have visible red bar even with engine off.
the 718 GT car taillights do NOT have a visible horizontal red brake bar. It is only looks red if brakes pressed.
personally I think the rear taillights with the red horizontal bar at rest, look better than the smoked versions that are essentially all black.
do you know if the European versions of the regular 718 lights have a red bar always visible?

I have no issue with the red blinker, so I'm going to do the NA "base" tail lights if it's plug and play.

are these the European version of the Spyder/GT4/4RS/SRS lights or the euro version of the regular 718 taillights?

These are the European version of the lights that come standard on the base, S, and 000 Spyder versions of the 982, not the smoked versions found on the GTS, GT4, Spyder, and RS models. The two differences are the four silver elements around the brake lamps (black on the smoked lamps) and the red element that is always visible.

I prefer the regular (non-blacked-out) lights because they don’t look so lifeless and dead. But all that chrome bothered me, so I switched them back. If anyone’s interested in this "000 setup", feel free to reach out to me…
