Already bought some noise canceling headphones for her, in case; we like to tour in the hill country and NW Arkansas.

Congratulations! When I had a Gt4rs, my favorite part was the combination of the pdk-s with rapid downshifts and the induction bark that produced. Im glad you are happy with the pdk-s. What is under discussed on RL is how fantastic a pdk-s is compared to regular pdk. It is super snappy and responsive, just like the NA engine it is paired with. (In the regular cars with turbo charged engines and regular pdk, it is a little laggy.). For the 4rs and srs, you add that induction bark and its a great all around experience that I dont think would improve with a manual. Which tires did it ship with? I wonder if corsas are available, I prefer those for street use to cup2 or ps4s.
My car came with Cup 2 N1. Considering the temperatures I am impressed. On my 911 I have ps4s. In cold weather they take a bit to warm up. They feel flat spotted until they warm up. These Cup 2N1 are smooth from the get go. I am anxious to see what they are like on warm days.

Absolutely the pdk needs to be seen to be believed, it's amazing.I didn't know people are calling the sound a bark, but that's exactly what I called it also. The 718 RS is so unique and something truly special. 😍

There is a thread on Rennlist about the SRS having a suspension that cant handle bumps well, (How to fix the 718 RS wheels bouncing? - Rennlist - Porsche Discussion Forums) since we both live in the unofficial home of the worst roads in the developed world, I thought I'd ask you how your SRS handles all the filled in potholes, bumps, ridges, can you put power down ok? Does it loose composure in corners when it hits bumps at speed etc? I appreciate that you are being mindful of the break in process, but how does it handle city driving in this city?

I sure hope you randomly drive by me one day, I can't wait to see my first SRS!

That thread started off with 718 RS and everyone thinks the GT4RS & SRS are the same. They are not. The SRS is much more compliant and very refined. I find the SRS very easy to drive, slide, pivot, rotate through a corner bumps or no bumps. My only complaint would be the bucket seats. I am too old and beaten up to get in and out constantly. Add 18 ways and this is one amazing daily driver that you can have extreme fun with. Even great to take to a track or autocross.
Otherwise I am in love 😍

I trust, and hope you're right. My brother has a Spyder (not SRS) and he says it's no good for Toronto (he lives in Collingwood, a smaller town in Ontario). I have a 991.1 GT3 RS, and outside of a few areas where bumps make the car aggressively tilt side to side, as opposed to front to rear (I hope you get my meaning) I'm ok with the RS in Toronto. It could be my brother is more sensitive to bumps, or it could mean the Spyder is more sensitive to bumps. I'm guessing it's my brother, but since I'm in the third stage of TYD addiction, once in a while I'll need the fix of asking for input from folks who have the car, especially if they live in my hometown.

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but in the thread I linked, the OP clarified in post #14 that he was talking about the Spyder RS. I was reading it and starting to worry, but I also recognize many of these posters may be trying to get the fastest lap ever, and, while I enjoy hitting the track once in a while, I'm never going to be so committed to track days that I need to worry about ultimate lap times, in this respect, I'm so glad my dealer turned me down for a GT4 RS, but, somewhat miraculously, gave me a surprise SRS allocation, had I known about both beforehand, I would definitely have gone SRS. Based on your experience, I'm guessing most of the unfavourable comments came from 'track rats' and with all respect and admiration to them, I'm not really that demographic.
I have the 18 ways in My Boxster 4.0, and you're right, they are excellent, but I am locked into my build, and have gone for the CF seats, I find them comfortable enough for a several hour drive, I totally agree getting in and out is a bit of a challenge for my aging 6'4" 250 lb body, but at least if anyone is watching me get out of my car they can feel a bit better by having a quick laugh at my expense.
All the best!

@Amochosto I have had my Spyder since 2020 and just notched 37k km, it has a RSS Stage 2 suspension upgrade and a DSC controller, as bad as Toronto is (been there lots of times) I think we have a least a few streets that could challenge for pothole and bump supremacy!
My Spyder also has forged aluminum wheels and PCCB brakes, this combined with the DSC controller really make the ride in Normal Chassis very forgiving, I have buddies with GT4's and iron brakes with OEM wheels and can tell you the difference is obvious.
Everybody has different expectations but given that the SRS suspension was tuned for the road and not the track and the way @Jay Cordeiro describes his SRS, which is how I feel mine handles the rough roads, I am confident that you are going to love it.
