Supreme Ace reporting it is heading to Tuxpan MX instead of Freeport. It has been "off the radar" position-wise for 20 hours, but looked to be veering west (instead of NW) after Cuba. I know Freeport had some issues due to the hurricane, so am wondering if schedule to get to Freeport is affected. I also have heard shipping services will erroneously report which port it is heading to (ie reports it is headed to Tuxpan but really goes to Freeport).

We'll see when it shows back up on radar. If Freeport is having trouble, I wonder what the options are. My guess is it gets to Freeport a week late. (shrug)

Where I am we dont get full tracking ability through the Porsche site. I have a SRS on the way, just wanted to check which port do they depart from in Germany? Or if anyone has better tracking ability than me, the car should be on the way to the UAE and if they could let me know what ship it might be on?

Luckily mine is almost to the US. It's just passing San Diego and will drop off at San Francisco to be trucked up to WA. Dealer has already called me earlier this week to get payment, etc... ready and says he expects it within 2 weeks.

Folks on the west coast delivery thread are saying their Cayennes are being held up at port because of this, FYI.

Supposedly docks the 26th. Offload for a day...3'ish days to catch a ride to dealer (I hear this has a wide margin of uncertainty, though)...maybe in our hands latter part of next week.

My car arrived at the port on July 9th and TYD now says soonest departure is August 5th. I assume ships are still running all the time? Or did Europe go on vacation? Living in Seattle it is hard to see dates slip knowing I only have 9 total days of sunshine :-/

Different ships have different trade routes, it's possible that the next one that is US West Coast bound might depart in early August
while one that is US East Coast bound might leave next week, etc.

It's basically luck of the draw as to when your car arrives for shipping and how long it sits before being loaded.
