Someone remind me to check on EV production in like 30 years from now when I'm retired in an adult community.

Myself? I'm increasingly aware that I am no longer in PAG's long range target audience. The GT4 RS / Spyer RS are the swan songs of these beautiful ICE mahcines. And yes there is the occasional young person that loves them but not like before. The next gen loves the EVs, with all that glorious torque and speed. So they seem to still be speed freaks, just not with the beautiful sonorous note of an ICE.

Will I go and drive a 983 EV? Hell yeah! I'm just not tossing deposit money down YET.

Complaints I hear from friends/family who bought EV's.

1. Wish they had more range
2. Wish they handled better
3. Wish the motor had an interesting sound
4. Wish Elon hadn't cut the price after they bought them

In a lot of ways an EV sports car and an ICE long distance car make more sense as my sports car trips tend to be less than 300 miles.

With the announcement today of Mission X, basically an electric mid engine 918, it will be interesting to see how much of the information and technology from Mission X filters down to the 718EV. I thought that the Mission R with 1000+ HP was the future 718EV but this Mission X has the potential to be far more. I feel fairly certain that the 718EV and 918EV (Mission X) will both use the new PPE platform so there is the potential for technology to drift down to the 718EV.
