TBH don't feel much frenzy this time around. 40k is like their going rate for all gt cars like 992gt3/4rs/srs except for 3rs for those "in the loop" consider it the new "msrp" just like those msrp for msrp dealers

It’s always good to add context to these ADM discussions.

What is your relationship with the dealer?

What else is included in the contract, any junk add-ons?

Trade included?

$40 is a good price with no other considerations for a first wave car.

Did ADMs exist prior to the COVID-19 pandemic?

I can understand how they might have become more prevalent due to the global slowdown / shortage of parts, but wondering if we will see them slowly recede.

Yes. I know someone who sold his 2016 GT3RS for 400k when MSRP was 200k, this was back in 2016 and the first car to arrive in PTS.

In 2015 I easily got a GT3, and in 2016 easily got a GT4, both at MSRP. I was a good customer of the dealership, but not a top customer. It was not at all like it is today.

2015 I purchased a GT4 MSRP, waited about 4 months for the allocation.

2018 Purchased a 991 Touring MSRP, waited about four months for the allocation

No other requirements, none!

July 2022 received an allocation for a GT4 RS, waited three years for the allocation and another 11 months for delivery, $25k over and required $5k of exclusive manufacturing options.

All via the same dealership, I sold them around eight cars since 2015, some for more than I paid others less 🤷‍♂️

The dealership has all of my service business and they received about a dozen referrals from me.

Ok... I'm officially official... Finally received my commission number and I'm at V200 status.
Production starts 2/18... completes 3/11... Euro delivery in May -booked out until then
Which means USA delivery July/August (If I'm lucky).

So, if you have recently locked, reach out to your SA and you might be able to make last minute changes.
Thanks Jamie140 for the useful info - I just confirmed today that I was able to add PCCBs to my locked build. I'm sure steel brakes would have been phenomenal but maybe there would have been a bit of FOMO lurking in the background .

Yeah the first 991.1 GT3RSs were selling for $100k-$150k (sound familiar?). Then as more and more allocations kept coming the ADMs drifted down (I paid a $50k ADM for my allocation) and by the end you could have gotten an allocation at $25k-$30k from what I heard. Within a few years once the .2GT3RS was revealed, the .1GT3RSs started trading below MSRP. I prediction something similar will happen with the new GT3RS.

I was finally able to answer the poll today - V200 with a commission number as of this afternoon with a March build. Can't wait! Now I just need to finalize the color and options and then sell/trade the 991.1 GT3...
