Didn't realise an allocation thread was the place to express how you won't be buying a Spyder RS because of the lack of manual transmission..... Newsflash, NOBODY CARES!!!!

Looking how many RS are unsold i guess Its the enviness driver,
in my case considerimg that i exit my garage either roof open or closed and that a naturally aspirated 9k rpm engine need a shorter pdk than manual gears, its the way exactly how i spec"d her, just notice how appropriate sounds to call this Porsche her... a perfectly made crazy filly
..

Could someone who received a GT4 RS allocation layout the timeline from the announcement of the GT4 RS up to their receipt of the car? The timelines I would think could be similar. Thx!

Yes, the same for Vancouver/Richmond BC. November/December allocation and May-June delivery.

I received confirmation of my 4RS allocation in April 2022, so ~6 months after the official reveal. My spec was locked in May 2022. My car was built in early Sept 2022. I did Euro Delivery during the first two weeks of October 2022. Car arrived at my dealership in the US mid-Jan 2023. Hope this helps but, as ever, YMMV.

Not sure if my input would help - I have an allocation in Europe, according to my dealer will be built November/December this year and delivery around Feb-March 2024.
I asked about the Spyder RS a few days after it was released and got a confirmation in the beginning of this week.
Hope this helps.

No, but will have a discussion early next week with my dealer and will try to get info on PTS.
To be honest, really liked the launch spec and will go with it if PTS is not available.
