We'd like to think so, but I have definitely learned the world is not nearly as fair as we like to think.

100%. This notion that dealers will somehow turndown a customer willing to pay ADM on a car that is for sale is cute. They exist for one thing only..

I'm pretty confident of that happening and I'll even talk to the sales manager about it when I fly down to see my GT4RS in April.

You're getting yours from Texas? Newport and Irvine couldn't get the job done for you? lol

What is keeping PNH from shunting these cars to friends of the dealership and collections their cut?

Because they have some very loyal customers who buy several cars a year, I think their biggest whale buys 4-6 cars a year as he has a bigger family and likes trying out different cars. Their mentality has been to take care of their good customers because they'll end up getting the GT cars back when their customers are done with them. So the relationship long game seems to have more value for them then the quick ADM side flips.

Yeah I've been buying and trading cars back in to North Houston since 2016 and they treat me like a good local customer. Don't get me started on the Orange County AutoNation stealers but they are good for the free first oil change and warranty work. Besides, I like the BBQ out in Texas better than I do out here.

A better conversation over a beer and wings. I tried to start a relationship with a few SoCal dealers in 2015/2016 including Newport, Walters, Circle, San Diego, and South Bay (as well as Gaudin out in Vegas) but all that I got was crickets.
