With the somewhat softening used car market and constant change, I was hoping to get some input on a fair value for a used Spyder from anyone that has recently been following the market or has real data from recent sales. I have looked around but it is a bit hard to really see where things are at. Thanks in advance.
2021 Spyder
10k miles
Gentian Blue
PDK
18 ways
Steelies
No issues, accidents, etc.
Bunch of other stuff to get to ~$125k MSRP

Real data? Check BAT and filter on 718 Spyders…

There are several used Spyders on Autotrader with some reasonably priced. Start by comparing yours to those with the lowest prices and work your way up price wise. When you get to cars that have more options, are newer and have lower miles, you've probably reached the upper limit of what yours will bring. I like to establish a "quick sale" price as a baseline which usually means you need to have the best car at the best price. Anything above that is gravy.

I'm not sure the market has softened that much (if at all) on premium & hard to get vehicles like this. But as mentioned above, you can look at auction sites and see what they've been selling for, and you can look at asking price of those that are on the market right now...

Totally agree on BaT, but don't forget to add the buyer-paid commission, which is 5% or $5,000, whichever is lower. So, usually $5k for a Spyder.
I love BaT (you can look at Cars and Bids also), because its a fact that someone paid whatever price the car sold for (unless the buyer renegs, but I think that is rare). Whenever I am curious how much a used car is worth, I start there.
For slightly more common cars, I also like Carvana as a data point, because you can buy the cars for the listed price. So, if you see a price way above that somewhere for a similar car, you have to ask why you would pay it.

My gut is telling me that right now sellers in private transactions of garden variety (non-PTS) Spyders can expect to receive just a hair over MSRP (3-5% plus or minus) plus some value for the mods. Unless you didn't pay sales tax, the days of buying them at $15K over and flipping for a profit are over, at least temporarily. Quick sale situation, I'd try and get MSRP plus some $$ for mods and be done with it.

This is a lousy time of year to be selling a sports car. Fair chance that market softening on these cars is due in large part to seasonal demand loss. How much? Who knows. Could see a good bump in value in the spring. Or further economic weakness could offset a spring bump. I think that the potential gain from a spring bump + ongoing supply issues is greater than potential loss from economic weakness.

Thanks for all the inputs everyone. I did check BaT and only 2 closed in the last month and both were PTS and only 7 total this year. Will look around more.

Based on Autotrader, cars at advertised prices aren't exactly flying off the shelf so I would look for a car with a similar spec and discount slightly from advertised price based on how fast you want it to move. I certainly don't think this dip in pricing is temporary so would carefully consider what a bird in the hand is worth if you get an offer that's constructive.

There's a white Spyder on auction at BaT, you may want to watch that to get a feel for the market. You can also check PCarMarket as well but it gets less site traffic and therefore cars tend to sell for less.
At 10k miles I am also thinking around MSRP will be where you'll end up selling at. Being a convertible there is less interest than a GT4. Good luck with the sale!

As a recent buyer of one, I'd say that MSRP would be fair for buyer and seller. Miles are not really low, and spec is not a hot one: PDK, color, no PCCB, and 18 way. But I do think there a lot of variability based on simple things like location or a buyer looking for a specific option set. Some people pay up for being able to see it first and buy locally. Some people pay up for an option that may not be expensive but that they really want. I'd List 10k over MSRP and be prepared if nothing happens to go 5k below.

Soft tops slow up this time of year. There have not been any 2021 Spyder's through Manheim auction since August and only a small sample total. Look at Porsche dealer's inventory for used and most are asking 10K-20K over MSRP. I would think MSRP including Certification to extend warranty would be decent price. There are a total of 19 MT and 9 PDK at Porsche dealers listed on their site. 28 cars is not many. These forums tend to think there are thousands of buyers looking to buy a 100K+ car. Everyone does not want CCB and LWB either. I would rather spend the money on being a better driver at the track. These cars are so capable in any trim level.

I usually take the car to my local dealership and ask if they are interested in buying it. This will give you a wholesale value and you can adjust for a private sale from there.

I think you if you got MSRP for the car right now, you'd be lucky, given the miles and options you mentioned. I think it will depend on what the other options are as well and whether buyers will find them valuable, as $125k sounds like a bit of a high sticker for a car with 18 ways and iron rotors. Look no further than the brand new, very well spec'd '22 Spyder with 210 miles in the Marketplace at $10k over sticker and still not selling.
