Current Marker for Used Spyder

Three Wheelin'
Timing is everything and we're heading into the months where it's better to be a buyer than a seller. Throw a changing economy into the mix and there should be cars available that aren't priced for last year's market.

Except for those financing as that may actually take a lot of sellers out of the market. My savings account interest rate is higher than my mortgage APR. If I had know that, I would have taken out a larger mortgage and put it in savings.

Perhaps options matter and those looking can be picky.
Here is a PTS that sold 2 weeks ago for 30K over plus BAT fee.

A typical Spyder, even a solid build with minimal miles, would be lucky to get MSRP now. The current used inventory bears this out. The Spyder currently in the marketplace over sticker isn’t selling and won’t at that ask. Maybe if he got desmotesta to post ‘perfect spect, this should go fast!’ In his ad it might sell quicker…

That’s a unicorn. Not relevant to this discussion at all.

I search the Canadian Autotrader site every now and again and today found this. 33 found! Holy moley! That is a pile for the Canadian market (roughly 10% of the USA market).
Prices still seem high but we're just at the start of the winter months.
Asking prices ranging from $159,035 - $189,900 CAD ( ($117,974 - 140,870 USDs)

But I agree with you, once these cars start finding permanent homes and there is less movement, these will start appreciating again. They are awesome toys to begin with.

This 2016 GT4 is back up on bring a trailer. I suspect the dealer is going to take a beating on this one. This is the listing from a year ago.

I dunno Bob Z’s car looks like a steal at it’s ‘buy it now’ reduced price of $150,000…

Do you have a problem with me? Or are you just bored and trying to up your post count, or your rep as an *******? And the same goes for your pal, SpyderNoSense OC.

In truth, yes, I have a problem with moderators who abuse their power on this site, which you’ve done repeatedly. And also laughably overpriced cars, but that’s actually one of the pluses of visiting RL these days. All the delusional for sale ads.

Follow you?! Don't flatter yourself. I subscribe to this thread, just like many others. And I am not a moderator so stop, just stop, and grow the **** up. And I am talking to 2 people right now about my car at the price listed so maybe you should open your eyes and not your mouth - I do not have a run of the mill Spyder and those that are looking for such a car can do the math and realize that it would cost at least that to do what I have done. I am buying a Speedster for probably more than you would think it is worth but guess what - my money! And what people want to pay for a car with their money is their business, not yours.

And I know your car is special. It has a lot of additional yellow paint everywhere.
