Sheesh ... I thought I was bad for forgetting the location 2 screws that didnt need to be removed (which are now re-installed, thanks for showing me where, lol).. You never answered my question about what is "Neodym Delete"?
I sold my 991.2 C4S Cab in June and missed having a convertible all Summer. Found a totally-loaded CPO Boxster 25 Years in Miami and bought it. Wasn't looking for a Boxster 25 Years but had to take this particular car given its build spec. I'm just not a gold guy so I have swapped out the Neodyme Side intakes, Grill, and soon the wheels. Though sacrilege to remove the 25 Year items, I have bubble-wrapped everything to protect them for the next owner.

Had a chance to remove the front bumper to install the functioning front Keyless Frunk Open sensor this afternoon. The front is a bit more time-consuming than the rear due to the number of Torx Screws to remove and some very pesky, hard to reach/unclip connectors. This is my second time removing the front bumper in 3 weeks, so I was able to do it 75% faster this time with a Cordless Ratchet. I’d highly recommend using one if you don’t own a lift/jack/jack stands. Attached are a few behind the bumper pics for your reference. The final step after both the front and back are installed is activating the sensors with PIWIS III.

Just means you need to put whatever you are carrying with two hands on the ground, and fishing for the fob, possibly in the rain

I had it on my 991.2 and actually really liked it. To each their own, I guess. I also think most of us are retrofitting the feature to prove our local dealers are wrong about it not being possible. Nothing like a good challenge.

Whenever people post pictures showing the inside of their garages on this site, they're always neat and pristine suburban examples. Well for comparison, here's a pic from the inside of my mid-town depression era garage. As a result, I do most of my work in the driverway, much to the enjoyment of my snooty neighbors.

The 718 is under a cover to the left.

All that matters is that it is your own personal sanctuary to enjoy your hobby. We all need that regardless of whatever form it takes.

lol ... so true! My Dealer also said it was impossible to enable convertible top operation from the key fob, also wrong! I love having both of these features! @mc3456 Great pictures once again.

Having done both, which would you recommend to do first? I'm just going to buy one first and see how it goes

Rear is easier, just make sure you can remove the 6 torx on the leading edge of the rear spoiler before you start taking other stuff apart. The rest is pretty easy. You need to raise the car to get at 3 of the screws at the bottom of the apron. Don't rush it, take your time. Have you got a plan for coding?

I highly recommend this tiny yet super useful micro offset ratchet but using the correct T-25, T-30 Torx Bits which are not included. It certainly makes reaching the inward-facing Torx screws on the rear spoiler and other difficult to see/reach screws much easier to remove/tighten. If a tool were to be valued by utility alone, this should sell for 10x the asking price. Here is a link to the Autozone listing: Micro Ratchet from Autozone

Yes they would need to code the changes in Engineering Mode then select both modules BMC hinten and Vorne. => Manual Coding without coding rules => Coding Value

.
Good luck
