Your SA should be able to show the formal PTS availability based on model on his/her computer screen. What I was shown was: 718's show yellow (maybe) 992 shows red (no PTS). With that said, as CJ said in the thread you previously shared, your SA pushes your build out 2-3 months to allow enough lead time (~6 months). My SA said with 6 month lead time there is a good chance PTS will be approved for 4RS.
Are you talking about the color of the square bucket slot on his computer? Or color of the 718 on his screen?

I'm talking about the color coded PTS availability GUI, eg., Green, Yellow, and Red, which is color coded per Porsche model, e.g., 718, 911, Macan, Taycan, Cayenne etc
I noticed you also had a 992 GT3. While it was minimally disappointing to me (it didnt have enough fizz... I look forward to the 4RS), I shouldn't have traded it in so long ago. I thought the car was going to arrive (per Porsche) around New Year's.
First World problems, but still...
Yes, I made the same move. I also found the on-road experience of the 992 GT3 was a bit lacking. But I traded mine in knowing the 4RS was going to be a little bit of a wait as I wanted a PTS allocation.
Mine keeps getting pushed. Relatively simple build...WP (no mags) with many options but no PTS, no CXX. Providing simply as a data point to others.
Originally late March delivery, now early May. However I'm not complaining...I have too many cars incoming so the time gives me more buffer to play with other toys.
I should also mention, my SA wouldn't have proceeded with the PTS request if the system showed red for my car, as there is zero chance of approval. I'm assuming the ambiguity around some PTS requests here on Rennlist is due to the SA's lack of transparency, knowing they can see PTS availability on their computer.
Also, each region has a small allocation of PTS slots each round. When I spec'ed my MY24 GT4RS, at first there was no option to spec PTS in the configurator. Then on one Sunday (Monday in Germany) they finally added the option for selecting PTS. On Monday morning my SA called me asking for my PTS color, since apparently there were only 3 open PTS slots for the whole of the US West Coast that time around. He was able to secure the slot for a limited time but needed my color within 24 hours or would have to relinquish it. I fortunately was already prepared, so I was ready.
So I guess the yellow in the ordering system GUI for the 781 fits the above scenario. PTS available but you have to get one of the provided slots. I assume green would mean, that enough slots are available.
Same for me…Port Quality Action hold. Sitting in JAX port since 2/13 and no info to be had. Glad I am not the only one……must mean something amiss for all and not damage which was my biggest fear.
Also in Jax since Feb 13.... anyone seeing action?
We see a lot of WP cars, but this adds nothing functional in the USA.
Why is it so popular when most don't get magnesium wheels that become available when WP is chosen?
WP looks much better than the cheap black plastic and resale. 991.2 3RS Weissach commands a 20-30k premium historically over the non WP, the difference will settle similar with the 4RS when production ends.

They are both carbon, but one is painted black.
The WP however does include different seat stitching, dash logo, an alcantara dash and titanium exhaust tips.

The side intakes (both upper and lower), the ducts and airbox are plastic on the non WP car vs carbon on the WP.
