Not always... My dealer "expected" dates are always Fridays, TYD has more independent days. Not sure what dictates the difference between the two systems. They really differ after completion and the transport process starts. Internal system is way more accurate at that point.

My 4RS is due in Baltimore this weekend. Does anyone have any insight into how cars are moving through the process in Baltimore. Appears there are some issues in Jacksonville.

I kind of want delivery of my car delayed, because that will give me more time to decide what to trade in.

Not really required, but somewhat expected. We have 10 cars, and I'd like to downsize, or at least not add a car and have 11. So with a 4RS coming in probably next month, something should go. Candidates for trade in are:
- 992 GT3: Got this at MSRP, market value is a lot higher than MSRP, dealer will only pay MSRP for trade in, so financially it makes sense to not trade this in. And I do like the car, the front end is magic.
- 992 TTS: This is a 2021 CPO. Got it last year for $236k and the current market value is about the same as what I paid. I absolutely love the aesthetics of unique build, would never be able to find a similar build in a used car, and building one now would be $263k assuming I can get an allocation, which is unlikely, and I wouldn't want to spend that much anyway. I don't 'need' this car, but the performance has a unique wow factor. And it looks like the 992.2 TTS will by hybrid, whereas I prefer non-hybrid.
- 991.2 C4S cab: Wife and I love this car and the build. We enjoy driving it top down and it's our only Porsche convertible (also have a E93 M3 convertible). The performance isn't on the level of a TT/S, but the car is very fast and capable, and is fun to drive in a spirited manner. We want to keep this car, but if we trade it in, we could eventually replace it with another 991 cab. I'm leaning toward trading this in, but it's more the wife's car than mine, so she's not happy with this idea.
We also have a 991.2 3RS and McLaren which are in a price range similar to the 4RS, but they are 'not for sale'.
I'd be willing to trade in our Cayman R because I think the 4RS supersedes it, but the wife says "No!" to the idea, too much nostalgia.
All of our other cars have a market value of less than $50k.

^ Your wife sounds like a gem !! Congrats
mine hates everything in the garage, views them as the enemy.
Maybe I need to buy her a PDK Boxster so she can enjoy the hobby also? Probably my mistake.
