I don't know if there are many other people like me, but I can't stand the idea of paying a $5k fee on an auction of a car that I can't first inspect in person and/or via PPI. Sellers have to understand that even though technically the buyers pay the auction fee, sensible buyers already priced that fee into their highest bid. As buyers, and aside from the fee, who wants to compete in a high pressure sale situation unless it's an absolute bargain.
Auction sites like these have their place for truly rare cars or even special CXX GT models. In most times (i.e. not during Covid crunch) and for non-ultra exclusive models, I think simple listing sites like Autotrader, Cars.com, etc. work better for both sellers and buyers

Second paragraph I completely agree with.

But even if the dealer sells this car for 125, they make an easy 5k. I wish they wouldn't. It's almost as nauseating as the bots buying tickets on ticketmaster before anyone else and selling them for 2x the price.

Looks like we missed our chance on this one, but seemed worth posting anyway. Surely that's got to be the highest sticker price of any non-RS Spyder? Anyone have the Monroney?

You sure about this VIN? Can't find it in my records
edit - ah you trolled me with the O instead of 0 there
edit2 - my record shows MSRP of $146090 so either the CXX bugged something there, or ...

I guess it's *possible* the customization was all aftermarket, but the dealership did advertise it as having $270k MSRP (which seems almost unbelievably high; feels like there would have to be way more CXX that I'm not seeing to go 100k over a well-optioned PTS 000 Spyder).
@Lucifer - are your records generally correct for MSRP of CXX cars? I can DM you my VIN if you want to try a spot-check.
