@718socal did you ever do Power Steering Plus coding on PIWIS for anyone? Enabling that feature alone almost paid for my Launch X431 purchase. Its not a huge difference but happy with how it behaves so I'm leaving it enabled. Launch coding below, should be similar for PIWIS...

Also did you ever find a way to change auto headlight sensitivity - haven't seen anyone report success.
Never activated Power Steering Plus but it can be done with PIWIS. Regarding the headlights there are settings for sensitivity in PIWIS. Someone discovered how to disable/enable DRL maybe there is a setting for a menu option for DRL or Auto headlight sensitivity in the cluster.

As far as I can remember, the sensitivity can be adjusted. As I have nothing to complain about in this regard, I have not made any changes. I don't think you can avoid experimenting a little. Please share the results.
DRL can be deactivated in PIWIS or a corresponding menu item can be added to the instrument cluster. See somewhere above.
What I am looking for: I have managed to get DRL to activate only when the engine is started and not during ignition plus (terminal 15). Unfortunately, this only applies to DRL. In darker light conditions, the low beam is switched on directly. I would also like to have this activated only when the engine is started. This still comes on with ignition plus. In short: all lights off until the engine is running. Does anyone have any ideas?

Yes you can add NAV to your car. Go to the other OEM NAV thread. Go to the first page for coding features for your GT4.

@neteng101 I just activated PSS with PIWIS on my GTS 4.0 a few days ago. I'm running GT4/Spyder tire sizes. There is no GTS specific "vehicle class" setting so I chose 982 Boxster and Cayman S. So far I'm liking it a lot, less effort at low speeds and steering feel does not seem to be negatively affected at all. I recommend it
Looking for some help with hardware and getting started here. Had some experience a while back with my programming my Gallardo an more recently for changes to my Bronco, but those were easier to get started with laptop and easier to obtain trustable software. Is there an existing (and recent) thread on how one would go about getting PIWIS 3 setup? Have some extra laptops sitting around so mostly looking for recommended connector to car and software source. Once I'm setup, would be happy to give back to community by helping other PacNW area members.

I don't know what I was doing that caused it to stop working, but my PCM (head unit) is unable to load due to an error 11070 on the Piwis. Is there any possible reason for this? I can still display the navigation and phone information on the instrument cluster, but I can still start the PCM and operate the navigation.
Hi everyone, In the 982 GT4, the air fan speed control doesn't remember the last setting, and it always switches on with the ignition. I believe the console does remember the last setting of the AC switch.
If someone knows how to code the fan speed to remember the last setting, please point me to where I can find it in the PIWIS.

It will remember your AC settings only if you have the memory package which is not available for your GT4.

Error 11070 means it can't connect to the module. What did you code before this happened? Try to find a shop and have their PIWIS connected. If they can't connect then something is up with your PCM.
