With all Porsches, when you select the air recirculation button, 1) the air conditioner comes on, and 2) if I turn off the air-conditioner myself, eventually, this button also turns off and the outside air comes in again.

Is there a way to simply reprogram the car to push the button, it stays on, and the air conditioner does not come on by itself?

Unfortunately, I coded the Auto Recirculation off and the AC still comes on. If you have the Memory seats, your AC, mirror and light settings could be saved to the key or memory button. No luck so far without the memory module.

Why would anyone want to turn on recycle with a/c off, the windows will fog up in no time.

Nice to see you're back. How is you mirror tilt working?

Good point. But, sometimes I get stuck in terrible traffic, and I don't want to breath diesel. But, I don't want the air conditioner on either since is is very nice in S CA.

It works fine, though the tilt angle is not as broad as my 997 or 971. Thanks for asking.

Regarding feature requests, is it possible to enable the ability to have the PCM read incoming text messages out loud from an iPhone while moving? Surprisingly, my Boxster 25 Years did not allow it until the car was stopped, whereas my Alfa Stelvio QV always reads out the messages while in motion when prompted.

UPDATE: Please disregard the aforementioned request. Apparently the PCM already does offer this. My first ride out of storage it did not, but on my second ride it did. Not sure what changed between the two drives, but now it works.

This is what I get while driving with my phone connected with BT (not AA or CP).

You can disable this with MIB AIO.

Go to Advanced Coding

Scroll down to SMS Editor Speed Limit and change that to 199

Scroll down to the next screen and change Radiotext Speed limit to 199

Scroll back up and click on Calculate checksum for dataset and reboot unit

Those are the setting for PIWIS to remove the restriction while driving for CarPlay and Android Auto.
Not Active means not restricted

The first time I drove the car the other day, I received your PCM warning message, but the second time, it actually allowed me to listen to the received message, but only for a moment until that capability disappeared, reverting back to your warning screen. So you are saying the lockout is speed dependent? Have to add that to the list of coding I need done!

Easy Entry coding. Does anyone use the Easy Entry with their memory seats? I saw this in the Panamera forum.

There are some settings in PIWIS to change how the driver seat is moved forward and backward. I coded this on all my BMW cars before.

Hi Jerry, Phil activated my Frunk/Trunk sensors, actual water temperature, always on Speedo/Tach gauges, and the remote Convertible roof open and close remote capability. Mine is set to completely close windows along with the roof, but we could only get the windows to stay 3-4 inches down when opening the roof, but not get them all the way down.

Are saying your windows go all the way down when opening the roof with the remote? Just trying to figure out if we need to try again or not in case we missed something.
That's awesome. I can't really answer your question as I choose to have my windows up after my top has been opened. This allows the car to be more secure if I lock the car with the top down. Kudos to @718socal for helping so many of us with coding!!

I can confirm that with a DSC installed - this function turns hill hold off.

It will function exactly the same as having my foot on the brake pedal until the moment I depart. The clutch will be engaged identically, and the benefit will be I won't have to account for the hill hold release delay when I'm entering a roundabout or cross traffic.
