lets do the 4.5 pulls before the conversion i should have mine broken in about 2 weeks from today. After the 4.7 we can compare it again to see what the 0.2 L got you other than a super thin engine block

Figured I'd put a little blurb together, specifically for @lilbza , as I was finally able to have back to back leisure drives with my recently broken in 4RS and my 4.5L 6MT 718 Spyder.
A little background on the Spyder for those not familiar: 4.5L DeMan motor + DeMan gears + DeMan catted headers/JCR full Ti + Drexler 50/60 diff + Emotion suspension/KW Clubsport 3way + Forgeline GA3R.
My 4RS is a stock WP car. Both cars are running Cup2 tires. Please excuse me if my impressions are a little bit all over the place, just typing them out as they come to mind.
- One car is manual, one car is PDK. Both have short gears. The Spyder has noticeably stronger in-gear acceleration and monsters the 4RS everywhere except when it comes time to shift (I can't defeat the almighty PDK hehehe)
- Spyder is more composed and settled over bumps in general, but this is especially noticeable during sharp compressions at low/medium speeds. At higher speeds, the damping of the 4RS seems closer to that of the Spyder, but never as smooth
- Expanding on above, 4RS feels noticeably stiffer even compared to previous 991.2 3RS and 991.2 GT3.
- Both feel basically identical in braking performance, no surprise there (both on PCCB)
- The sound signatures are wildly different. The 4RS is intake heavy, has the associated resonances bouncing around the cabin and shrieks at the top end. The Spyder is exhaust heavy, much deeper and somehow more serrated than the 4RS.
- Both have a bit of a race car lope at idle, which I absolutely love.
- Spyder smells more racecar LOLOL (Boostane).
- Seats are the same, interior is basically the same. Can't hear the audio system in either. Can still hear wife rolling her eyes though (strange how that works).
Happy to answer any and all questions about them. Overall, extremely happy and fortunate to own both...they are different enough experiences to me that it makes total sense keeping them side by side.
Will copy this post over to my DeMan thread as well.

Pretty cool actually and something that definitely defies standing performance knowledge and logic.
I hope @JAhmed weighs in on if he’ll get the tune, I think he can get 93 at the pump in Chickagogo.
