Porsche Cutaway Drawings

No worries at all. My original thought was to make them somewhat customizable with some of the more popular options, but it will never be as complete as the configurator because I can only emulate what Porsche has rendered in their originals. I'm still making layers that will allow for some customization though, and will add one for the interior trim pieces as well. I will continue to post updates and eventually plan to accommodate some custom requests. It started out with me wanting a cutaway of the GTS 4.0 Cayman since Porsche didn't render any images for those, and then I thought of color changes, etc on the other models.

I bought a rear mounting plate system since I also dislike the way Porsche does it. It uses 3M tape on the mounting blocks and the screws go into the blocks, not into the car. And it keeps it off the car itself, which looks cool:

Here are some updated images for the Cayman GTS 4 liter. I wasn't happy with the way my previous version looked around the engine compartment and exhaust area. I made the rear valence smaller since it was taken from the Spyder/GT4 which are more pronounced. I added the windshield from the GT4 image as I liked the reflection better. I added the air intake on the driver's side from the GT4/Spyder since it was missing before. I fixed the engine compartment that had a weird mix of PDK and Manual parts to represent full Manual as shown with the shifter. And lastly, I experimented with some more subdued colors that are supposed to resemble Aventurine Green and Agate Grey. Edit - I added GT Silver with Black wheels and also updated the Lizard Green and Racing Yellow GTS images in my original post. I think they are much nicer images then my first pass at the GTS and are getting closer to what I want. Here they are:

Good catch - I will have to check that. I know the previous GTS with the 2.5 doesn't show it but it may be tied to the 4 liter motor only. The source images started out as 2.5 liter flat 4s and I added the rest of the GTS drivetrain but overlooked the cooling system or subconsciously thought it might be GT car specific item for the track. That will likely be the next addition then.

These are awesome! Thanks @Randy_B My car is GT Silver, so that addition is wonderful.
Looks like the new images have lost some of the cutaway detail that was visible through the front windshield. Also, I can confirm that there's a center radiator on the GTS 4.0 - I just went out to the garage and checked mine since I didn't trust my memory.

Randy, I've chimed in previously, but I'd love one of your classic pieces of art to be a GT Silver Spyder with the classic red/black interior. My car goes into the production line this Friday.. Whoo Hooo!!

Here is an updated GT Silver GTS with the front radiators installed (I grabbed the side ones too in case they are different from the base Caymans). Thanks again leaf345 for calling that out since I overlooked it previously. I think it definitely helps add some visual interest to the front half of the car. I need to circle back on the Boxster GTS images and incorporate the latest round of Cayman changes. I also added the original image below as the starting point for comparison.
