GT4 RS Allocation Thread
#991
US rules for what constitutes a particular "model year" are extremely flexible - almost arbitrary. So it would make sense if all the GT4RSs that are coming to the USA initially be designated by Porsche as "2023" model cars, regardless of their actual build date or on-sale date.
My understanding is that some other sales territories, the EU for example, have much stricter rules about what build dates belong to what specific "model year."

So an MY23 car can be produced from Jan 2 ‘22 to Dec 31 ‘23.

Please they need EPA approval which is always a pleasurable experience I’m guessing.

I don't care if the car will be delayed just hope prices still the same as 22 MY.

my lock date is today 27 of April, when I checked last Thursday the lock date shifted from 25 to 27 of April, MY was still showing the same 2022 and the delivery still the same, only change back then was the lock in date. I will check again today with my SA, order from Saudi Arabia(V2000.

I was thinking oversea may have had 2022 builds. I recall people claimed they reached V200 here in the States months ago. If that was really the case, were those changed over to 2023 with the new pricing or all 2022 went to VIPs?
