My biggest gripe with going PTS is the fact that i NEED the WP...

More money paid for less panels painted. I should at least have the option to have the hood the same color at no extra cost.

Def a burn,

I know this of a unpopular opinion especially on RL, But I really like getting the color palette offered from Porsche at that time on that gen. I think it is keeping "with the time" of what it was then and there at the moment...

Arena Red 993, Seal grey 996, a pumpkin 997 rs, grey/red 997.2 RS, light geyser grey on a 50th anniversary, miami blue 991.2 RS, I mean I would rather have all those over any PTS those years imo....They are special because porsche made them, they chose them, they the experts picked out what they thought was the best that year...

also pts was more picked than any single color on the last gt3 so how "rare" is it now?

That's a way to look at it (from the historic/resale perspective) but for me I have to really like the color and it's probably one of the most important factors when configuring the car......IMHO the current offering of colors and interior choices sucks big time.
PTS has gotten more expensive but on this one, it's even more as you need to get WP, so you may end up with fewer PTS cars. I'll bet you that a lot of people will choose the launch color combo (at least on my dealer of the first 15 spots on the list, 6 have picked this color combo)
Even that I said no more PTS, I had to bite the bullet in order to get a color I really like....and forget about CXX for the interior.

Yep, I do.

PTS/CCX accepted and production pushed from July to September

Are any of the build dates for actual allocations in to 2023 yet?

Yes. I just got mine today. It's a January build. And the waiting starts.

My build is Not at South shore, but I'm 15 minutes from there. Is yours/are you trying to secure one there?

It’s V200 with a Jan build or this is what your dealer told you?

V110 because PCNA has to approve my PTS. It's not the 1st time. They did the same thing with my GT3 Touring and my GT2 RS a few years ago. They just adjust the freeze point to an earlier date due to having to order the paint but they have always approved it in my case.

So much for "improved and expanded" PTS availability......mine got delayed also because of PTS

My 992 Touring PTS experience is there are 2 lock dates....1 for PTS and 1 for everything else (much after PTS lock date). The earlier PTS lock date is to secure paint and plan production, IIRC it was 4 months prior to build month.

You are correct in that. I just never adjusted my build after the initial PTS lock date.
