Honestly, watching the GT4 race cars on track wouldn’t drive me to want to pay $200k+ for a GT4 in any trim.

Who said base, tardley? A well speccd GT4 hits high $120s easily, and if this car is truly the shizzle like the folks on here who claim connections say it is, it could easily have a base price $40-45k more than the standard GT4, which would put it around $170k. Add an ADM and you have a stupid price for a GT4.

My money is on GT4 base will not be near GT3 base. Base GT4 is $116,000 CDN, GT3 is $180,000. I peg GT4RS at $150,000 CDN base.

I agree with you. My GT3 is coming in Feb next year. And because of that, my willingness to buy a GT4 RS at this moment is low. I have the 9A2EVO engine in my spyder, and with the JCR exhaust, I am very satisfied.

Sounds like these things are going to end up costing people well north of 200k all said and done. As much as I prefer the cayman platform and think the new gt3 is ugly, I’d get the gt3 if I was spending that much.

Agreed, even though I agree that the current 911, even in GT3 form, is pretty hideous. We're in one of those periods that come along every 20 years or so when Porsche loses their way and produces an ugly 911. I expect/hope that the next iteration will pivot to the Taycan/Mission R design style and revert back to the beautiful, simple, organic design cues for which Porsche has always been known. The busy-ness that has crept into their 911 designs in recent years has been an unwelcome sight.
