correct, but this won't be the norm and isn't a "market moving" deal, no adm in my case means they have first right to sale for first year, will only give msrp back at time of trade (not market value on trade), if I sell under them even after 2 years I probably lose my relationship with them. I also got free 2nd year maintenance. theoretically there is an adm, just doesn't come in the upfront purchase portion, if that makes sense. regardless, impeccable relationship I am fortunate to have. sub 180k build, essentially no strings (since whenever I trade it in itll be for another p car) just goes to show for some people up above, it's not impossible to get your stripper build at adm without getting smashed on a trade

Unless I’m mistaken in your statement…
Anyway, not meant to be a dig but without understanding these “relationships” may/may not mean the same to all on here.

completely agree, no dig taken, thats why I clarified no one should be hunting this type of deal; if I didn't have this "relationship" I would 100% fork over 25-30k and call it a big win, what I have with my sa/gm at my dealership is likely not the norm but also I dont live in a big coastal city, so its not like im competing with correlative population as most on here

“Relationship” generally means some stout retail purchases

And in this case the guy openly stated he has long history. He sells it back to them at MSRP (so rather paying mark up on the front side, he loses the value on the backside), loses his relationship if he sells elsewhere, this is pretty common and a good model IMO for folks that want to cycle through cars and have long term ongoing relationships...there is no "naysaying" going on here.
I've never seen someone so eager to wait multiple years for "the market to come down" just to save $10-$20k and I have a feeling you'll still be waiting even if it does.

I'll find out for you today.

All he does is talk out his ***. Correct, the OP has earned his MSRP deal. Kudos to him. This is not the norm and GT cars will not be at MSRP in two years.

Relationships do matter. Good sales people and dealers often want specialty cars in the hands of people that represent their dealership and the brand well.
Yes, they want to make money. Yes, they want to get the cars back as trades for future vehicles.
Not all dealerships and sales people are egregious in their transactions, but the few that are leave poor impressions on all of us.
