Why would you hate to admit it?

It's all because of the greedy a-hole dealers implementing this ADM bs over the last few years... If there was no ADM on these cars then second hand market would not be so high either. Take a look at the prices in Europe as it's much more reasonable due to MSRP only sales. Hooray capitalism

Agree. I have put 1000 miles on her under two months. It’ll be special forever. Best driving experience since my air cooled and even GT3.

I seriously doubt it. Demand for the car isn’t unlimited, and some of the demand is due to scarcity keeping prices up, so one can own the car for a while roughly for free.

992 GT3 is a fine car, but is only fun when driven with serious pace (much higher than speed limits).

4RS is a fine car, but is too loud and dramatic for a lot of people.

Exactly the problem right there for the 4RS..... its a damn good car, but they clearly built it with the assumption you'd be wearing a helmet. Even my ADHD *** that loves background noise feels the harmonics and overall sound robs the senses for the full experience, plus limits ability to listen for tire screeching or other ambient senses that aid in driving.

Yes, too loud. Compounded by a mismatch between the crescendo of engine sounds and the absence of a corresponding shove in the back. Power delivery is very linear; whereas sound delivery is distinctly non-linear (re throttle application).

Just picked mine up. The intake noise and downshift blips are glorious.

No doubt! Gorgeous! If they think the 4RS is too loud, they may need to hand over their man card.

Thanks. I was torn between Signal yellow and Azzurro Thetys but decided to save AT for a 911 build someday.

Signal yellow is replacing gulf orange as my favorite spec on the 4rs!
My pts-lite-poverty-spec shark blue looks tame in comparison

Scrappy you have everything, curious how is the 4rs stacking up against your last few 992 and 991 variants?

That's why I've been say that the 4RS was the GT that I wanted most. It's an absolute riot to drive on around, I can't even image how fun it'll be on the track.

You can get a pts gt4rs in Canada for very close to MSRP. There are plenty of greedy people asking $60-100k over while the highly specked cars are going for very close to MSRP.

I have not had the luxury of driving enough Porsches but the praise this car gets makes me wonder what all the fuss is about. I was pretty disappointed in the lack of push into the seat under acceleration. I think my 981 gt4 has more usable torque under 6k rpm. There's no question the 4RS would be a great track car but it just wasn't exciting enough at slower speeds to warrant the upgrade - 3x the price. For those saying the intake noise is too loud you are obviously shopping for the wrong car. The intake noise and throttle response are the cars highlights and don't see any negatives in that area. It's an RS after all.

Clearly you haven't been in one as you said. It's beyond loud and anyone that says it's daily acceptable is goofing themselves.
