still plenty of people wanting GT4 and Spyder allocations. That can’t be why it was stopped.

I never tire of people pontificating about how it is obvious what Porsche will do, based on their expert (entirely anecdotal) assessment. Oh wait...that's a lie (the never-tiring bit). lol

Oh I think they know if more allocations are forthcoming between now and the end of the year. Considering most car manufacturers are working 5-8 years in advance, would be crazy if their model lineup and supply chain was less than a year out in planning and projections. Both financially (publicly traded company, earnings forecasts, etc) as well as supplier needs.
Example, projecting to sell 3000 units of Car Y, with an average price of $200,000, $600M in revenue. Or, projecting to need 3000 of engine X for Car Y and 4000 of engine X for Car Z, for a total of 7000 engine X. Those targets are set and known. Targets and Forecasts can change. But I don't think they wake up Monday morning and go, "you know, lets build another 2k GT4rs over the next 3 months."

They're def pumping out more cars than a year ago. But thats being driven by the 992 not 718. Would be surprising if that changed suddenly.

Are they really going to go forward with that stupid electric Cayman? I say cancel that and make more ICE Caymans with GT3 engines.

Canada recently got some SRS allocations. Any other GT cars with those?

I don't doubt that they have a production plan, but I think they can shift the plan somewhat based on market conditions, supply chains, etc.

the demand had tailed off at the end of production. I received the last gt4 allocation and was surprised that there was not more demand.

Yeah, demand is finite. There aren't an unlimited number of people able and willing to buy this type of car, especially if they have to pay an ADM and aren't guaranteed to not lose money.

Just had a Cali store message me with a GT4RS allocation, they're at 75k over MSRP.

Any idea when the build date is for this allocation? $75k is pretty wild, but then again this is Cali lol.

Sadly to get your own buildable allocation there's a premium compared to buying a used car on the market.

I'm not sure if this is a new allocation or a customer back out. Will definitely post when I find out.

Update - it seems allocations did drop. One Cali store said he got 2 GT3RS, 1 GT4RS and 2 Spyder RS.

The asks are pretty steep though.
