I just got the Ego 765, after watching Matt from Obsessed Garage's reviews on them.

It rocks! Takes a ton of time off of a cleaning. I can dry the entire car now with one medium sized towel, and I don't even have to touch the wheels after blowing them dry.

A lot less towels to wash after a car wash now.

Frank set me up, so 2-4 weeks. He takes great care of his Rennlist customers!

So, regarding the shift boot not included in the extended deviated stitching package, I did go back and found it as an additional option under “leather” for $900. Frank's work is a fraction of that, so happy it worked out this way. I am thinking about adding the steering column leather, too, but worried the deviated stitching will reflect in the windshield.

Hmmm, it is not a separate item on my build sheet or window sticker. I only paid extra for Extended Deviated Stitching and my 2021 Spyder came with Yellow stitching on the steering wheel and shift boot, as well as other places.

Indeed! GTS owners get screwed on that.

Maybe, but the base price of the Spyder is a bunch more to begin with so maybe we are getting screwed!

The $11K price difference between BGTS and Spyder is one of the best value propositions in the Porsche lineup.

I am getting the GT4 RS Shift Lever for my birthday next month, has anyone installed this on their car yet? Looks like a direct clip in replacement.

Just picked up mine from my SA. I still need the hazard/lock button trim which I ordered from Suncoast. From the information I've found it should be a simple plug and play. I may have some OCD issues with the arctic grey stitching in my yellow stitch car. If I can't get over it may take it to an interior company to restitch the boot with yellow stitching.

Contact Classic 9 Leather Shop and talk to Andrew. They will restitch it for not much coin, especially compared to another place that does this same kind of work that others here have used. I used them to recover and restitch my sun visors and they look OEM - highly recommended.

Classic 9 Leather Shop can modify your shift boot Dan if you decide you want Yellow stitching one day.

Nice. I ordered it from Suncoast with the black stitching, my car has red stitching. I did not see any additional parts that I needed for this? Can you give me the part number for the extra parts needed? Thanks.

Black stitching? Do you mean black leather? The GT4RS **** as far as I know comes is Grey or Blue stitched race-tex or black leather which I assume comes with black stitching. I have race tex in my car so that was a no go for me. If you have the leather steering wheel option on your car that should be a great fit.

The hazard/lock button is integrated into the PDK mounting plate. To complete the install you will need this... Console Trim

Also there is a fairly in-depth thread about the swap HERE
