I know the feeling; I had $30k ready to go onto my car when I got it ($10k exhaust, $11k wheels/tires, $10k PPF).

Thankfully my PPF is only $6,500 but I have that booked too. I have the P1 inserts, inconel exhaust, Anitgravity battery, and random stuff like mats and glass rear window.

That's what I'm thinking too but was trying to see if anybody has some first hand knowledge from living in Germany.

Jeffrey Behr,

Your a wise man and I can state as a FACT the Michelin AS/4 tires are an excellent choice for some of us according to what we are doing with our Porsche and where we live.

Congratulations Sir.

I just completed a 2,000 mile Fast-Trip from Franklin, TN. to San Antonio & La Vernia, Texas.
The tires did an excellent job.
I have zero complaints with them.

Terry

I’ve been riding on these for a few months and really like them. I’ll be interested to see the hot weather characteristics.

Perhaps that is for the GTS sizing, for the GT4/Spyder they are not Porsche rated:

I thought the NO Porsche rating only applies to tires that come as OEM. I didn't think the GT4 was available with A/S tires, but I could be wrong.

Sorry, you are right. They are not N0 for GTS as well. I don’t care as the car isn’t leased and they are as good as or better than the Pirelli’s, plus I don’t need to change out tires for the seasons.

They’re performance rated, from Michelin, and that’s good enough for me. I won’t be hitting 180 on the back roads here.

I think that you are correct on this...

I agree that there will be cases where "Nx" ratings are not required, and I in fact run RE980AS in the winter and they are not Porsche rated, I was just interested to know if they were.
