I have this bracket. I also have it on my GT350 - been on for 3 years now. I rarely have a plate on except on long trips.

https://craigs-mustang-brackets.mysh...ustang-bracket

My invoice says it's Item# 1456. The website doesn't list Porsche but I think it used to. I'd call them to verify this unit is #1456. It looks identical to my other one and my friend's Cayman has it too.

There is a small triangle marker/bump in the bumper's center in the black plastic where I mounted it. I decided I wanted it in that spot anyway, so I cut away some of the 3M tape there and then also bent the bracket slightly to curve a bit in an effort to have the center bow a bit away from that bump. It seems to really be on there permanently, but so far in 2 days of driving I have not mounted the plate. I have every confidence in it holding. It's REALLY stuck on there.

If you wanted to, you could mount the stick on part off-center, and then to center the plate, either slide it along the backing bracket slots, or if you need more movement, you can get some simple flat iron from a hardware store to be able to slide the plate over an inch or so.

Otherwise, this looks awesome!

I'd love to know the details on the seat and mounting hardware! Where did you order them, and how much?
You can fit the seatbelt through the hole in the seat, but I didn't like it, so I moved it to the outside. Still fits very snug. I got the seat from Vivid racing and the base from bbi autosport. Don't remember the exact prices. One note, the seat didn't come with the mounting hardware, but you can buy the screws from fvd.

I put these on my Spyder about 13 months ago and have driven 15k miles on them, including from NYC to LA. They’re great in rain and light snow, and grip even if it’s below freezing. Of course on a warm dry road they’re less sticky than the stock tires, and turn in isn’t as immediate, but that’s actually kinda fun if you enjoy breaking traction once in a while (makes it easier to to it intentionally). I’ve even used them for a couple of Autocross events.

The big issue is sizing. I had to put the older generation AS3+ on the front and the newer AS4 on the rear.

Thanks kindly for your thoughts. I think Michelin has the right sizes now (see below). Some guy in Philly put them on his Boxster, too, and gave a great review. The performance review seems to indicate they are better than the Pirelli performance summer tires that I’m taking off.

Nice set up! I'm also in Houston. Is this preparation for MSRH DE next weekend?

Thanks for letting me know. I’ll be switching to PS4S this spring but will probably go back to AS4 before next winter.

Those appear to be GTS tyre sizes, but it looks like the AS4 is now also available in the stock GT4/Spyder sizes (245/35R20 and 295/30R20)

Yes, they are phenomenal all-around tires. Dare I say, unless you are tracking or autocrossing your car, you won't miss the stock tires one bit. There's a great review here:

That was excellent, thanks. Now hopefully he will do one in the summer.

Guys,

I have the 2021 GT4 and made the decision to have the stock Michelin Cup2 tires changed to the PS4S tires before I took delivery.
Sold the Cup2 tires here on Rennlist.
I'm glad I made that choice and I have driven mine in the pouring down rain with no negative effects.
