What did you buy your 718 today?

Thanks for the response. I apologize, I realize now why I shouldn’t post things early in the morning when I’m rushing out the door. Lol
I’m actually referring to the socket size that fits the lug bolts. Lug bolts that came with the car seem to be 17mm (not the 19mm I mentioned in my previous post) and the ones that came with 4wheelspacers are 3/4”. I just wanted make sure this was right. I can see a mechanic mistakenly using a 17mm socket on a 3/4” bolt. Ultimately I would like all the bolts to be the same socket size.
Again, sorry for the confusion.

Not necessarily bought as it is free, but took my car in for the first oil change today, just crossed the one-year anniversary and about 3,800 miles. My dealer not only sells GT cars at MSRP only but they also give you the second year maintenance for free. I can't complain.
Here is some of the eye candy in the shop and on the floor including a special wishes Touring awaiting delivery, a private collection Carrera GT and GT3 RS, and a GT2 RS awaiting service with a bunch of air-cooled.

I got this set of carbon fiber dive planes and front/side spoiler extensions; however, after holding them up to my car I decided to not install them since I do not have any carbon fiber on my car now. If someone wants a great discounted price on them here they are: https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1364720

So now I am trying to figure out if it is better to get extended H&R lugs (which they have 17mm) for the front or change the rear to 19mm in stock length. I would really like to know why they changed from 19mm to 17mm. There must be a reason.

Thanks for the response. Like you, I asked 4wheelspacers if they had 19mm standard length bolts for the rear and they said they did not but that should be easy enough to find elsewhere.

Before & after 8mm spacers:

The Refinery on Carlaw. I think they do all of Downtown Porsche’s cars. The owner is a big Porsche guy too so they definitely know their way around these cars!
Give them a call.
Can confirm I got 19mm bolts too. I found getting a hold of 4WheelSpacers via phone is much quicker and yields better results. I’m going to call them to see if they can send 17mm bolts.

I installed the 8MM fronts over the weekend, utilizing the 3/4" supplied lugs. Definitely going to look at replacing them with 17MM extended versions.
Did you notice and vibrations in the front after your install? I took the GT4 out to an event on Sunday, hitting speeds in low triple digits and I experienced some vibration upfront; which I dont recall having prior. I'll be taking her out over the next few days to test the feel on different roads at high speeds. These are coming right off if the upfront feel persists, bc 8MM adjustment for looks only (which is hardly noticeable to anyone but a 718 owner), isnt worth the sacrifice to the the cars stability.
*I re-torqued twice before the event

Over the years I’ve found the best practice is to torque them down without load on the wheels. I usually gently lower the car to provide enough contact to the wheel so it doesn’t rotate as I torque the lugs down, then fully lower it.
