Talked to my SA yesterday and confirmed that i'm on the Daisy Leader. I figured the hack wouldnt give the wrong information but it was nice to have confirmation. He says projected ETA on his end is first week of August so i'm hoping that holds true.
Just got the email from Porsche's European Delivery Logistics confirming my car is on the Crystal Ray that left Emden on June 17th and has already sailed past the Azores.
In the email, they mention ETA in Benicia around July 4th, though Marine Traffic shows an ETA at the Panama Canal entrance on July 2nd and the official schedule shows July 19th. On the plus side: the ship is still floating
In any case, I am excited to see the car possibly arrive before the end of July (in time for some roadtrips and Packwood AX) or at worst in early August.
I really wish i got on the Crystal Ray especially since it's landing in Benicia. But for some weird reason it looks like my car is getting dropped off in LA and then trucked up to the Bay Area which makes no sense to me.

Seeing as both our cars are on that ship and we're both in Pac NW, I'm hope that July 4 ETA to Benicia is correct. Really though, any time in July would still be good by me since I recall my original ETA to dealer was 7/27 or 7/28.

Given that the ship has not yet passed the Panama Canal, I think the late July/early August arrival in the PNW is more likely.
For anyone else on the Daisy Leader, it looks like the ship is taking the long way around. It's skipping the Panama Canal in favor of sailing around South America. Unsure the reason for that but it can explain why its taking a bit longer than other ships to reach California.

Shipping through Drake's Passage ... hope they tied down all the cars with stronger straps

Summer will be over by the time that boat gets here! On the plus side, even if it was here, I'm not sure many Porsche dealers are delivering cars yet with the CDK incident.

Haha luckily i'm in California and there no such thing as winter here so its not THAT bad. But yes i was hoping to be able to drive it through the majority of summer.
But yeah with the Cyberattack that happened recently, maybe this is kind of a good thing? Maybe that will all be resolved by the time the car hits port?

lol yeah thats basically as bad as it gets. I'm in Fremont so we get that 3pm wind which is annoying but whatever lol. I'm a bit sad it wont get here before Monterey Car Week though
mine got off from RCC Compass too waiting for PECLA. It seems like processing takes anywhere from 5 days - 2 weeks on average
benefit to PEC delivery is that you have a set date to look forward to. I kinda miss that. Even though it extended my delivery by about a month at least i had a specific day i could mark on the calendar.
