Good day, Rennlisters! As a new forum supporting vendor, we wanted to take a moment to stop by, say hello, and introduce our business. My name is Kyle Griffiths, I am a fellow Porsche owner and the founder/operator of The Last Detail, an automotive detail firm who focuses much of our business within the Porsche community.
About The Last Detail:
The Last Detail is much more than your run-of-the-mill automotive detailing shop; we are the professionals that auto enthusiast’s trust. We are a full-service, professional detailing company, which concentrates on protecting and maintaining our clients’ vehicles. Our customers range from individuals who simply love their daily driver, to car collectors who cherish their classic or premium brand automobiles. Our company was founded by auto enthusiasts – for auto enthusiasts, with the desire to provide exceptional automotive detailing services to our clientele. With a combined experience of over 30+ years, and following our methodical and proven methodologies, we specialize in new car preparation and protection, single and multi-stage paint correction, protective coatings (including ceramic and paint protection film), interior cleaning and protection, and everything in-between, down to The Last Detail. Over the years we’ve had the opportunity to work on all Porsche models, including classic air-cooled 911’s to modern Taycan EV’s. In the spirit of sharing some of our recent projects, below please find photos and videos of two amazing “naturally aspirated” 4.0 liter 718’s which were recently in our shop.
The first is a Shark Blue 2023 GT4 which received a full paint correction, paint protection film, and ceramic coating. This car arrived from the factory with some superficial swirls and sanding marks but was quick to restore with a single stage paint correction. The full front, headlights, mirrors, windshield frame, rocker panels, air intakes, rear spoiler and behind the rear wheels are wrapped with LLumar 10-year self-healing PPF. In keeping with the black-out trim look, the owner requested the roof be wrapped in high gloss black PPF. We think the car turned our incredible! This GT4 can now be driven, enjoyed, and easily maintained.
We also completed a spectacular 2023 Python Green 718 Boxster GTS this month. It’s hard to believe that Porsche does not consider Python Green a paint-to-sample color, and now the color is no longer available on the configurator palette. It’s truly amazing in person! This car had a bit more of a story as the build was completed back in October 2022, but the car sat at port for four months waiting for parts and transportation. The paint on the Boxster needed a bit more TLC to correct but we managed to get the finish to a flawless condition. This Boxster GTS also received extensive PPF in the form of our track-pack protection along with multiple coats of CQuartz ceramic coating. The owner of this GTS was amazed when she picked up her Boxster wearing green driving gloves and matching green apparel. We loved it!

Welcome to the forum! So happy to see TLD as a Rennlist sponsor. Great experience working with Kyle and the team on my 2022 718 Spyder. Paint correction, PPF and ceramic coating turned out amazing! Will be coming back, as soon as my matching Python Green Macan GTS can catch a ship to the United States.
@Matt(inMA), proud to be in our 4th year of business. We are mobile but prefer to work out of our shop for Paint Protection Film. As you might expect, we have special lighting and cleanliness is always a concern when installing PPF. We don't want to introduce or tarp dirt under the film. With that said, we have done some PPF installs at customer locations, provided they have the proper environment. Our shop is located in Deptford, NJ, 08096, about 15 minutes south east of Philadelphia PA.
