at this point I’d actually rather them delay it further so it won’t get here till interest rates start going down.
Hah, that's the silver lining, there IS a positive in all this!

It would have been great to just spend some time and just enjoy the car but now I probably won’t get it till end of January since I’m doing PECLA.

looks like we'll probably be ship mates. I assume your car is also heading to Benicia port? Its just a strange decision to me as I'm picking up my car in LA so one would think delivering the car to San Diego would be faster and cheaper.

I think the worst thing for me is seeing the countdown for it to be on the boat either be passed or see like 2 days remaining and then all of a sudden seeing that same milestone date pushed out 2 weeks. Its happened to me twice now and there's a part of me that kinda believes that this will never happen. I know it eventually will but man, this tracking has definitely give me more anxiety than I've ever experienced when buying a car.

Oh! I figured the last two stops may just be omitted for some reason... Do you have a table that includes ships that stop in Benicia?

They'll probably drop your car off at one of the other stops and truck it over I'm assuming

I don't but I remember someone linking a shipping schedule which showed two ships docking in Benicia. one was docking 12/20ish (which falls in line with our new estimated delivery day) and the other one wasn't docking till January.

I'm actually in Southern California working with Porsche Palm Springs. TYD shows my car going through San Diego however as others have pointed out, there doesn't seem to be a ship scheduled to stop in SD. We shall see how this progresses...

I got delayed again.

Production Started 9/19 completion just moved again this morning to 11/4 with arrival at dealer showing 12/9.

Seems that this is the last delay I can take in order to see the car this year given the currently published shipping schedule has the last boat leaving Emden on 11/8 and arriving Houston 11/23. Nothing after that on the shipping schedule last I checked, so I'm resigned to wait until January or later at this point.

Honestly I'm looking at a significant Personal Property Tax bill if I own the car 1/1/23 so I'm probably better off if it doesn't show until after that. I don't think having it for a few weeks in December is worth the tax hit.
